No Funny Money for Me
During my Leander ISD school board campaign, I was made aware of a disturbing lesson called “Funny Money” which is supplied by a non-profit corporation called Junior Achievement.
This lesson asks “Should Canada, Mexico, and the United States develop the namero as a common currency?” The lesson draws parallels between the European Union’s (EU) euro and a North American namero. The lesson reminds students to “Keep in mind that you may have to give up some of your country’s historical identity to create a common currency…” Students are instructed to design the front and back of a 50-cent namero coin and the front of a 10-namero banknote.
The process of incrementalism slowly conditions people to accept concepts and beliefs they would have rejected initially. Instead of publicly discussing the combining of Canada, Mexico, and the United States, the idea is being promoted slowly and under the guise of free trade and economic progress.
The US executive branch is harmonizing our laws, rules, and regulations with Canada and Mexico. The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (www.spp.gov) is one of those first step organizations towards a combined government.
Incrementalism created the European Union. The EU got its start in 1951 with the European Coal and Steel Community and over the years gobbled up control of economic policy and finally governmental control.
I believe in protecting the United States Constitution and each school district trustee swears an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. This curriculum is dangerous and undermines the US’s strength and prosperity. Free trade that only benefits corporations does not protect your constitution rights. We must remember that the people are the masters of government and corporations.
Join me and demand our schools review the curriculum for harmful lessons. America is great because rights are protected against the tyranny of a majority. If a North American Union was going to be such a great ideal for everyone, why is it being slowly and cleverly promoted in the shadows?
